Scuba fins
A person who is interested in taking up scuba diving may
only know that he needs scuba fins, but there are a lot more pieces
of equipment that any diver needs in order to be effective. Some of
the things he might need include:
• Mask – A scuba mask is large enough to cover the diver’s
eyes as well as his nose. These masks should be completely airtight
and adjustable. Most masks can be purchased in a few different colors.
• Buoyancy compensator – Many aspiring divers do not understand
how necessary a buoyancy compensator is before they do their first dive.
The fact is that a diver will have a very difficult time staying horizontal
in deep water without having a buoyancy compensator to help keep him
in the proper position.
• Scuba fins – Although scuba fins are certainly awkward
to wear outside of the water, they are extremely helpful to wear inside
of the water. These fins help a diver move around the water much more
efficiently because they help a diver kick with more force than a simple
barefoot would.
In addition to masks, buoyancy compensators and scuba fins, there are
many other devices needed. A person should never dive until he or she
is sure that everything that is needed is in place.
